Held over a 3-day weekend, tens of thousands of visitors are expected to attend and shop at each event. Artists can apply for one, two, or all three Best Fests, but separate applications are required for each location.

Best Fest seeks the best of art and craft in 21 categories with 16 award categories. Twenty-four hour roaming security will be provided throughout the Festival. Awards will be given for best in each category and Best In Show. Artists’ demonstrations will be encouraged.

Surrounding the Best Fest Art Festival at each signature event location will be an array of attractions that will drive foot traffic. They will include mainstages; fireworks; cultural villages that feature Arizona’s rich Hispanic, Native American, and Western heritages; education pavilions that present military, historic, sports, natural resources, science & future technologies, storytellers, and other entertaining offerings. This event is to be held at the new $100,000,000 state-of-the-art Salt River Fields at Talking Stick (home to the Diamondbacks and Rockies) spring training and event center. The success of their first spring season was far beyond their expectations and they won "Ballpark of the Year" with this centralized and accessible location just off Loop 101 in one of the most desirable geographic regions of the entire metropolitan Phoenix area.

Chocolate vendors are a must for this event, as we’ve added chocolates (and a little romance) to our event for the Valentine’s Day weekend celebration.

Thunderbird Artists has partnered with their professional staff and expect to have some great sponsor involvement.
